Variegated + fairisle = Vairisle!

A stranded colourwork cowl, perfect for anyone of any gender, in a solid-colour yarn and a variegated yarn, to mimic the shifting shades of traditional Fairisle knits, without all the ends to weave in at the end.

’Vairisle (A Hat)’ is available separately in my Rav store.

A great pattern if you’re new to stranded colourwork, as the floats on this are all short and the designs easy to memorise.

Gauge: 27 stitches by 39 rows in stranded colourwork. Gauge is not ciritical to fit.

You will need two skeins of DK yarn (at least 100g each) in contrasting colours, size 4 & 6 needles (3.5mm & 4mm), darning/tapestery needle, stitch marker & scissors.

Knit on a 60cm (24”) circular. Can also be knit on DPN’s, two circulars or magic loop.
