Do you need a small project to use up your spare yarn, and practice some new colour-work skills? This little monster will eat up your stash and is great as a plushy ornament, toy, pincushion, key ring, bag ornament or just as a mini cushion!

Materials
Approx 20-30 grams sport or DK weight Yarn. You can use any colours, but a contrast between the primary colour and the background colour will make a more effective monster!

Yarn A background colour - white
Yarn B primary colour - red
Size 2.75mm - 3mm needles (depending on how tight or loose you knit)
Darning needle
2 Sparkly buttons

The Valentines Mini Monster is knitted in the flat and then back stitched together. Other stitches used are mattress stitch and fair-isle knitting. No tension swatch required as size doesn’t matter here!
