The Valldemossa top is knitted bottom up. Long tail cast on, starting with a twisted rib. Easy- going stockinette knitted in the round until separating for the armholes.
In both sides a narrow section of purl stitches that will help the garment keep a good shape if knitted in 1ply yarn. The purl stitch sections get broader around the armholes and make the lining curl back a bit at the edges in order to make a nice lining around the armhole.
Back and front are knitted flat from the armhole ending in a simple boatneck in twisted rib. At the front a simple slip-stich pattern adds a decorative element and a light, airy feeling for the summer. 3-needle bind off.
