After two years of sales this pattern is now free.

Named for a local farmer and producer of wonderful goats milk soaps & skin care products from her award-winning flock of Saanen and British Alpine dairy goats. Shelly also happens to have been the inspiration for this pattern after admiring one of my earlier designs at a recent farmers market.

Begin working flat before eventually joining in the round. You will change colours every two rows/rounds so it is simple enough for less experienced knitters but with enough variation for those that have been knitting for a while.
The border benefits greatly from blocking therefore a natural fibre is highly recommended. Choose from two solids, a solid & a variegated, a solid & a gradient, or one smooth & one textured yarn.

Needles and Notions
Size 4.00mm 60cm (24”) circular, you might also wish to use a 5.00mm straight needle for binding off
Two stitch markers in different colours
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends

Skills required
Garter tab; knit in the round; work KYOK & YO increases; M1L increase; work S2KP (also known as CDD or S2K1PSSO);

Many thanks to my testers mittagirl and yarnymama for your assistance.

An addition to my Gippsland Collection, this 2-colour cowl will assist in raising funds for the Victorian charity Gippsland Emergency Relief Fund (gerf.org.au) for 4 weeks after release. As with the release of The Gippsland Beanie, 100% of sales less Ravelry and any PayPal fees will be donated with updates posted on this page.
