Vanilla Bean Socks
A sock pattern that is just beyond a vanilla sock! I love how relaxing this pattern is to work up!
Pattern includes:
-Video tutorial links for: German twisted cast on, Kitchener stitch.
Pattern is written for a cuff down sock with instructions for a heel flap and gusset.
Supplies List
Yarn: Fingering Weight Yarn. Samples knit in: Mountain Sage Fiber Co. (on left) in the Cyclamen Colorway on the Sage
Sock Fingering Weight base (85% Superwash Merino/15% Nylon) and Leap of Faith Yarns (on right) in the He is Risen
Sock Set on the Sock Fingering Weight base (75% Superwash Merino/25% Nylon).
Needles: US 1/2.25mm – Your choice: DPN’S, Magic Loop using a 32” cable, 9” Circular. Pattern is not written for a specific
way of working in the round.
Notions: Stitch marker
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
Gauge: Approx 8-9 sts per inch in stockinette
Sizes
Pattern is written for Small(Medium, Large) - Approx Circumference 8-9”(9-10”,10-11”)
The sizes listed are based on foot circumference and not the foot length. You will knit the sock to the length that you need in order to fit.
