Vanilla Bourbon is the first pattern in my new series of socks suitable for first-time sock knitting… so simple, they can be even be knit while sipping an “adult beverage!”

It will also work well for “traveling socks” as there is no complicated stitch pattern, no picking up of gusset stitches, no grafting, and a simple, fleegle-inspired heel.

Vanilla Bourbon is suitable for any fingering weight sock yarn, regardless of dye pattern - perfect for those wildly variegated sock yarns we all love! Instructions include simple variations to make fitting easy.

My thanks to firemaplegirl, purljam48, Wolflovertoo, brendalynn, drakb, and GroovyNoodles for all their hard work in testing and editing this pattern!
