The Vanilla Chilla Light Tee is the breezy, lighter sister of the original Vanilla Chilla Tee. It has all the same relaxed, timeless energy just worked in a thinner yarn (the original is worked in a DK
yarn, the lighter version in a fingering weight). If you want something simple and easy that you could reach for on the hottest days of summer, this is it.

Like the original, the piece is worked seamlessly top down in Stockinette Stitch, so you can easily adjust the length to suit your preferences. First, the yoke is worked flat to raise the back, then
the yoke continues in the round with classic raglan increases. To finish, the hems, cuffs, and collar are worked to double length, then neatly folded and attached for a clean, polished look. You can customise the sleeve lengths, work them to short or three quarter lengths (or even yh9longer).

The Vanilla Chilla Light Tee is designed to have 30-40 cm / 12-16” of positive ease. Choose a size that is 30-40 cm / 12-16” bigger than your bust circumference depending on desired fit.

Sample in size S, Kika has a bust of approx. 88 cm / 35” and is 171 cm/ 5’7” tall.

Gauge:
23 sts x 34 rnds = 10 cm / 4” in Stockinette st on 3 mm / US2.5 needles, after blocking.
24 sts x 36 rows/rnds = 10 cm / 4” in Stockinette st on 2.5 mm / US1.5 needles, after blocking.

Needles:
2.5 mm / US1.5: circular needles 40-60 cm / 16-24” for neck opening and 80-100 cm / 32-40” for folded hem, and DPNs for folded sleeve cuff (or use Magic Loop technique instead).
3 mm / US2.5: circular needles 40-60 cm / 16-24” for sleeves and 80-100 cm / 32-40” for body, or just 80-100 cm / 32-40” circular needles if you’re using Magic Loop technique.
