This is a pretty straight forward relatively quick pattern and a good way to use a single skein of Paton’s Classic Wool (or two if you want a wider scarf). The model in the photo is 3 1/2 “ wide and 80” long (including 5” fringe on each end). It is knit in a lengthwise rib and the fringe is created as you knit each row. Feel free to bump up the needle size for a looser, drapier scarf.

I am currently on a vanilla ice cream kick so was drawn to the cream color and melting ice cream effect of the fringe. Multi color stripes would be a fun way to use up yarn scraps, too.
