Every sock knitter will have a go-to vanilla sock recipe. I mostly eschew patterned socks and almost always knit my socks cuff-down, with a Fish Lips Kiss Heel (by Sox Therapist) and a wedge toe. This pattern explains how I knit my socks.

Vanilla socks are perfect for showing off your beautiful hand dyed skeins and provide a cozy and useful FO. They also make a fantastic gift; although be careful, once folks try a hand knit sock, they’ll want more!
