The inspiration for this hooded scarf is honestly vanity. Let me explain, Lynda looks great with hats and I just don’t think that I do. So I thought that maybe a hood would be more flattering for me. I decided to make a narrow scarf attached to the hood to make sure it stayed in place. It suits me better than a hat but of course it looks better on Lynda!

Vanity is a quick knit and very easy to do. It is knit in one piece and there is only one seam.

• Yarn: 250 yd of Worsted Weight (10 ply). The model shown was knitted with Impeccable from Loops and Threads.
• Needle: US 10 (6 mm) circulars
• Tapestry needle

Gauge
• 16 stitches and 20 rows = 4 inches (10 cm) in stockinet stitch US 10 (6 mm)

L’inspiration pour ce capuchon est honnêtement la vanité. Laissez-moi vous expliquer, Lynda est toujours belle lorsqu’elle porte un chapeau quel que soit le genre et moi je trouve que je n’ai pas une tête à chapeau. Alors j’ai pensé que peut-être un capuchon serait plus flatteur pour moi. J’ai décidé de faire un foulard étroit auquel le capuchon serait attaché pour que ce dernier reste bien en place. Cela me va mieux qu’une tuque mais bien sûr il va beaucoup mieux à Lynda!

Vanity est rapide et très facile à réaliser. Il se tricote en une pièce et n’y a qu’une simple couture à faire.
