Vår is the swedish word for “ spring”. The inspiration for this shawl I got from the first catkins in spring time. The snow has barely melted away and the willows are showing the first signs of life!
The small dotts scattered across the shawl symbolise the catkins and so is the the border.
Vår is a crescent shaped shawl, worked from the top down and finished with a “catkin” border.

You need a little bit more than one skein of yarn for the shawl part and almost one skein for the border. I had approximately 20 g of yarn left after completing the shawl.
