The Varg mitts are a new sibling to my other mitts patterns with the same overall construction. What separates it from the others is that it is longer and knitted with a slightly heavier yarn, so it is also suitable for men.
Its a quick, fun and intriguing pattern that keeps you to wanna continue knitting to reveal the wolf!

I used Rauma finull for the mitts,
but any rustic fingering weight yarn is a good choice,
such as Jamiesons spindrift or Jamiesons and Smith jumper weight
You need approximately:
20 g of the main colour and 15 g of the contrasting colours. You also need a tiny bit of
black and yellow yarn to embroider the eyes and nose of the wolf.

I knitted the mitts in Rauma finull, which is a slightly heavier yarn than I usually use in my mitts. But I wanted them a bit bigger so they would fit a man.
You can easily adjust the size by using a thinner yarn, like jamiessons spindrift and smaller needles for a smaller size and using a heavier yarn and bigger needles for a bigger size.
