Knitting the Varodden Sweater
The Varodden Sweater is knitted in the round, which means that instead of knitting back and forth in rows, you’ll be working in continuous circles to create a seamless garment. Knitting in the round is an efficient technique that eliminates the need for side seams, giving the jumper a smooth, even finish.

TOP-DOWN
You begin with the neckline and work raglan increases. Once the raglan section is complete, you divide the work into sleeves and body.
In this pattern, it’s a good idea to reverse the usual order and knit the sleeves before the body to make the best use of Colour 32:
This way, you can use one skein of Colour 32 for both sleeves, and then use the remaining yarn in that colour for the body. This ensures you get the most out of the yarn — and avoid running out before the sleeves are finished.
