VARTU
……………………..
Inspired by the modular sleeveless jackets that were once the staple of shepherd attire, Vartu offers a myriad of options to suit your climate and use-case scenario.
In its most basic form, Vartu is a simple crewneck gilet with a subtly curved hem. The optional addition of a tall collar pushes it into body warmer territory, or alternatively allows for fold-back lapels. While opting for underarm edgings lends additional drama to the look, particularly if they are worked in a different colour.
All in all, Vartu is a transformer that can be as traditional or contemporary, as light or heavy, as simple or complicated as needed - for your journey across fields, through forests, or down the neighbourhood lane.
