Yarn

Skills Required
Knit, purl, basic increases and decreases, picking up stitches, twisted ribbing, binding off, Cable Cast-On (tutorial link included), Center Double Decrease (tutorial link included), Provisional Cast-On (tutorial link included), Twisted Rib (tutorial link included).

Construction Plan
Vayst is knit from the top down. The back is provisionally cast on and knit to the underarms. Stitches are then picked up from the provisional cast-on and shoulder straps are knit back and forth. The neckline is shaped and the two front halves are joined at the centre before joining back and front under the arms. The body is then knit in the round to the hem. Stitches are picked up around the armholes for a Twisted Rib edging. Stitches are picked up for the neckline, and Twisted Rib is worked with a double decrease at the center of a V for a clean, mitred join.
