Vee Halter is my nod to the 60s and 70s (I am always a fan of mod chevron!). It is an interesting little number that knits up quickly - it starts and ends with just a few stitches! It’s knit on a bias so drape and movement are superb here.

YARN CHOICE
Fingering/light sportweight summer yarns, cotton, linen, hemp blends are a great choice!

YARN AMOUNTS
Sandnes Garn Mandarin Petit – 100% cotton; 195 yards (178 m) per 50 g (1.76 oz) skein
Color A: 360(420, 500, 580), (620, 700, 780) yards
Color B: 100(110, 120, 140), (150, 160, 180) yards
Sample shown in colors 6803 as Color A and 5936 as Color B

MEASUREMENTS
The halter measures:
Bust Circumference – 30” (33.47”, 38”, 40.4”), (44.44”, 47.9”, 52”) or size 1 (2, 3, 4), (5, 6, 7)
Recommended ease is 1” – 2” negative ease at the bust

NEEDLES
US#3/3.25 mm – 16”/40cm and 24”/60cm circular needles
US#4/3.50 mm – 24”/60cm circular needles (2 pairs)

TOOLS
Several markers, tapestry needle for weaving in ends

GAUGE
24 sts/32 rows per 4” square using US#4/3.50mm needles post blocking or size to obtain gauge
