Velvet Ripple
The Velvet Ripple socks are a cute and fun sock pattern. They feature a playful and delicate textured stitch pattern – a perfect sock for wearing around the house, or for showing off out and about.
The pattern is designed in 7 different sizes ranging from children to large adults. It also includes instructions on how to adjust the sock length, allowing you to create a shorter or longer fit to suit your personal preference.

MC: 1 (1, 1, 1) (1, 2, 2) 100g skeins 4ply / fingering weight yarn. 400 metres (437 yards) / 100 grams.
CC: 1 20g mini skein 4ply / fingering weight yarn. 80 metres (88 yards) / 20 grams or stash oddments (see below for size specific information)

CC: 3 (6, 6, 7) (9, 9, 9) m / 4 (7, 7, 8) (10, 10, 10) yds.
The yarn used in the sample is discontinued so not named. However, good yarn choices would include any yarn of a similar weight that is suitable for socks.
NEEDLES
2.25 mm (US 1) DPNs or size needed to obtain gauge.
GAUGE
32 stitches and 49 rounds to 10 cm / 4 in worked in pattern stitch in the round, after blocking.
We obtained this gauge using 2.25mm needles.
If necessary, change needle size to obtain gauge.
NOTIONS
Darning/tapestry needle.
Stitch marker (optional).
