DESCRIPTION
The Venezia Palina Coaster pattern takes little time to make and is the perfect companion for your coffee mug. My inspiration for this pattern came from the beautifully painted mooring poles found throughout the canals of Venezia. These poles are painted diagonally with stripes and I wanted to recreate that pattern using only texture. This is a beginner friendly pattern and will add a little touch of cozy to your home. A set of these would make a perfect gift for any occasion!

SKILLS
This includes a beginner level knitting pattern. The techniques involved are knit, purl, sl1p, and sl1k. All Frosia Knits patterns are written in standard US terms.

You will need less than 1 skein of Lily Sugar’n Cream Medium Weight Yarn (100% Cotton). Each skein is 120 yds (110 m). You will only need about 14 yds (13 m) to complete one coaster. You can easily substitute any medium weight 100% cotton yarn.
