Venice is a jumper with stripes and V-neck knitted from bottom-up, using the intarsia technique.

This sweater is designed with a positive ease of approx. 12-16cm/43⁄4-61⁄4’’.

The sleeves are worked from bottom-up in the round. The back and front are knitted straight with no armholes, then the sleeves are sewn onto the body at the end.

The Venice sweater is made with 100% Wool, worsted weight yarn - 9-10 ply.
Yarn B is a double-strand yarn using one strand each of a golden yarn and a nice glittery thread held together.

  • Yarn A: Cascade 220 - Black (8555); (4) 4 (4) 5 (5) x 100g balls (each approx 200m/220yd)
  • Yarn B: a double-strand yarn using one strand each of: Cascade Cantara - Gold (06); 1 x 100g ball Drops Glitter - Gold (01); 1 x 10g ball
  • Yarn C: Cascade 220 - Hunter Green (8893); 1 - 100g ball

Estimated yardage: (806m/887yd) 868m/955yd (960m/1056yd) 1084m/1193yd (1154m/1270yd) in total.

Gauge should be 18 sts and 25 rows to 10cm/4” over stockinette using 4,5mm/US7 needles (or size to obtain gauge).
