This design requires six colours of DK-weight yarn: three for the Fair Isle and three for the embroidery.

Construction Notes
Cowl is worked in the round.
To achieve a slight tapering towards the neck, a needle one size smaller than the main needle is used towards the end of the cowl.
Embroidery is added with duplicate stitch, after the cowl is blocked.
