Vera Ellen is a triangular shawl with a wingspan wider than it is deep. Perfect for wrapping up in on cooler days. Vera Ellen can be worn any which way, casually as a scarf with point in front or as a dressy accessory point in back. Beads are optional but make a classy addition when worked into the pattern. Instructions for bead placement are included.

It is a perfect “one skein” project as the pattern is easily adaptable to the yardage you have. Several charts (sets of instructions) can be repeated as many times as you like and the stitch count will always work for the next part of the pattern.

Note: The pattern is written to produce the Blue shawl in the photos. The Purple has additional repeats and requires approximately 600 yards to complete.

Named for my Nana, who first put knitting needles in my hands and started all of this. Thank you Nana!
