Verano Bag is the perfect summer bag, with a light and airy feel that makes it easy to carry from everyday outings to travels.
The bag is worked from the bottom up. First the bottom of the bag is worked back and forth. Then stitches are picked up around the bottom to form the sides of the bag. The sides of the bag are worked in the round to the top edge. With the strap stitches left on the needles, the top edge is bound off. Finally, the strap is worked and attached.

DK yarn:
200 g of Crealino by Lang Yarns in color 39 (100% linen, 165 m / 180 yards - 50 g)
Yardage: approx. 555 m / 610 yards
Yarn is held double throughout.

Gauge
27 sts × 44 rows = 10 × 10 cm 4 × 4 inches in linen stitch on 4 mm US6 needles without blocking
21 sts × 28 rows = 10 × 10 cm 4 × 4 inches in knotted openwork stitch on 4 mm US6 needles without blocking
＊Gauge is not critical for this project. However, a different　gauge may affect the amount of yarn required.

Verano Bag は日常使いからトラベルシーンまで、幅広く合わせられる夏にぴったりの軽やかで涼しげなバッグです。
編み方は、ボトムアップで編んでいきます。まず、バッグの底面を往復編みで編みます。次に、底面の周りを拾い目をしてつなげて輪にし、バッグの側面を縁まで編んだ後、最後に持ち手を編みます。
