Verbena is a shawl design named after the
common flowering plant. The small flowers of the
plant gave the inspiration for the lace pattern for
the shawl, which is highlighted with simple garter
stitch and some stripes. The design also features
a picot bind-off to compliment the lace border.

The shawl is lightweight yet large enough to wrap
around you. You can choose two colors close to
each other or with a large contrast - or anything in
between. To best compliment the lace pattern a
solid, semi-solid or lightly speckled yarn is
recommended.

Yarn
200g of fingering weight yarn, solid, semi-solid or
lightly speckled yarns work best with the design.
