Versa Cardigan
DETAILS
This cardigan is worked from the top down, seamlessly in stockinette stitch. First, cast on stitches for the collar.
Then, pick up stitches for the sleeves and back from the collar’s selvedge stitches. Work the back elevation in short rows for a better fit and a classic raglan.
Next, separate the sleeve stitches, cast on the underarm stitches, work the body.
Finally, work the sleeves and the tie belt (wide in hollow rib and/or narrow in stockinette stitch).
The name Versa comes from the word “versatile”, conveying the idea that this cardigan can be worn in many different ways, length, and with or without the tie belt.
