Crochet a vertebra for your desk, wall, table—use it as decoration, coaster, and more!

This is a 10-page pattern with pictures to create your own vertebrae. It includes a tutorial (with photos) for the 5-Loop Star Stitch required for the pattern!

The pattern makes a mostly flat vertebra that measures ~7 inches by ~6 inches.

It is beginner friendly but uses the following:
SC: Single Crochet
SL ST: Slip stitch
HDC: Half double crochet
DC: Double crochet
INC: Increase
DEC: Decrease

Tools and Materials:
4.5 mm Crochet hook
Yarn needle
Scissors
2 colors of worsted weight yarn (<1 skein each)
Stitch markers
