Double-sided, multicolored ribbing scarf pattern with vertical stripes on one side and horizontal stripes on the other side. Only one color used per row. Not brioche. Difficulty level - easy.

Pattern has 2 options: two and three-colored.

Materials:
fingering or sport-weight yarn;
4mm needles for fingering, or 4.5-5mm for sport-weight yarn. For the prototype on the photo, I used 3X50g of fingering-weight yarn, 150g / 600m total. The scarf is 5 repeats wide, and measures approx. 15cm wide and 150cm long.
Use distinctly different colors, either solids, or solid/gradient, or gradient/gradient combination. Self-stripping yarn may create an interesting effect, but might be a little confusing to work with due to frequent change of colors.

Gauge: one repeat, unstretched:
3cm wide with 3-colored,
or 2cm wide 2-colored.
