Very Cherry Cardi
This colourful and sweet fitted cardi features 3/4 sleeves and is covered in succulent cherries which stand out against a pink and cream stripe background. It is worked flat from the bottom up, with neck band and button bands picked up and worked at the end. The cherries are worked from a colour chart using the intarsia method - quite a lot of ends to weave in, so this one does require some patience! Techniques include knit and purl stitches, intarsia colour work from charts, increases and decreases, picking up stitches and making buttonholes (by working stitches together).
