This pattern is for stranded color work mittens inspired by thanking those people that help make our every day lives better! I firmly believe in the ‘it takes a village’ philosophy, and around the holidays I always want to thank teachers, postal workers, and all the wonderful people who are “Very Important Villagers” in my life.

This pattern is written for 2 identical mittens, worn interchangeably on either hand. So grab 2 of your favorite colors of yarn and knit mittens to celebrate and thank your favorite ‘villager’!

You can also make them a coordinating hat!
