Looking for a quick knit to use up some scraps? How about one that’s actually useful? Or great for a quick gift knit?

The Very Sudsy Soap Sack is a quick little knit that is worked from the bottom up using Judy’s magic cast on. Slipped stitches are used to create a fun pattern that works for variegated, solid, or stripped yarns. There is an eyelet row to help cinch the top closed. A crochet chained cord is used to close it, but you can use whatever you think will help hold it shut.

Uses approximately 20 grams of worsted weight cotton yarn. It’s a good use for those leftover bits from washcloths and the stitch pattern helps blend them together nicely.

I ended up having to make two of these myself, my first one went into use right away before I could take pictures!

Also, feel free to make it out of whatever worsted yarn you have and create a small gift bag or dice bag!
