With its batwing sleeves and gauzy mohair stripes, Vesper is a light and airy answer to a cool spring day or breezy summer evening. Vesper is very roomy and comfortable, while the silhouette remains tailored with the more fitted cuffs and waistband.

There are myriad possibilities with Vesper! Choose your favorite two color fingering weight/mohair combination. Or, work it up with fingering and lace weight scraps making each stripe a different color! Alternatively, knit it in the same color of mohair and fingering weight yarn for a low contrast stripe. Possibly sub in Suri Silk for mohair and your favorite single-ply for the fingering weight stripe. Or choose two bold colors and go for maximum brightness. The options are truly endless!

Note: While this sweater would be great worked up using mini skeins, remember that each yoke stripe is longer than the previous stripe. If using mini skeins, you may need more yarn for the longer stripes in the sweater.
