Bring some flair to drab winter outfits with this fun lacy shawl pattern! The VESPERTINE is a design aimed at INTERMEDIATE to ADVANCED level crocheters, who are confident learning new stitches and experienced at following patterns.

The design is a sprawling mandala shape which roughly doubles with each additional 8-row repeat. 4 repeats creates a shawlette while 5 will make a full size shawl. There are no yarn breaks from start to finish and no sewing is required. You can finish the shawl as shown in the pictures or add more/less rows for a straight edge, as well as add fringe or tassels (not included in the pattern).

The yarn used in the pictured shawls is Juliette by DMC, a Super Fine Yarn (weight 1): 100g/450m (not in Ravelry database)

It assumes you know how to do the following stitches:

• Chain
• Slip Stitch
• Single Crochet
• Half Double Crochet
• Double Crochet
• Triple Crochet
• Puff Stitch
