Named after Vesta, the Roman goddess of the hearth and the eternal flame — the colour was an easy choice. This oversized raglan sweater has a mock neck, boxy sleeves and a long twisted rib that gives it that signature structured look. Knitted in a silk mohair blend for a fabric that’s warm, soft and hard to take off.

This pattern is made with the Dreamknit Design Tool. Knit it exactly as shown or feel free to change the yarn, the design or details to make it your own. The sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down with raglan increases. You begin by casting on stitches for the yoke and working back and forth with increases to shape the neckline opening. The shoulders are joined by the front neck, and the yoke is knitted in the round with raglan increases. The sleeve stitches are placed on hold, and the body is worked in the round. The neckline ribbing is worked by picking up stitches along the neckline opening. Finally, the sleeves are worked from the held stitches.
