Via De Siena
by Jaki bogg
Inspired by the medieval city of Siena in Italy and the colours of the beautiful wall frescos from the Piazza del Campo.
This short sleeved sweater is knitted in the round from the bottom up. It uses a simple twisted stitch cable pattern on the main body and sleeves, with a colour work patterned yoke. The sleeves in this version are short but can be lengthened, just make sure you have enough yarn. It has no waist shaping but it does have approx 2” of positive ease.
It has been knitted, in this photo model, with my hand dyed HotButterYarns DK: a mix of Masham and BFL, the amounts specified in the pattern are for 9 colours.
