The Vianne Hood pattern includes instructions for both worsted and bulky weight yarn.

Materials needed:
• U.S. 7 (4.50 mm) 16” circular needle (worsted version)
• U.S. 11 (8.00 mm) 16” circular needle (bulky version)

• Yarn worsted version {Lion Brand Wool Ease Worsted} in colors Oatmeal for main color and Umber for tie {197 yards 180 m 85 g} per ball.

• Yarn bulky version {Lion Brand Hue & Me} in color Cement {137 yards 125 m 125 g} per ball.

•Approx. amounts needed worsted: 270, 325, 380 yards
•Approx. amounts needed bulky: 180, 210, 240 yards

• Stitch markers

• Tapestry needle for weaving in ends.

Gauge:
U.S. 7 (4.50 mm) (18 sts/32 rows = 4X4 square in garter stitch blocked)

U.S. 11 (8.00 mm) (10.5 sts/18.5 rows = 4X4 square in garter stitch blocked)

Hat sizes:
small approx. 20.5-21.5 inch head circumference
medium approx. 21.5-22.5 inch head circumference
large approx. 22.5-23.5 inch head circumference

Pattern notes: Pictured in a size medium for both worsted and bulky
versions on a 22 inch head circumference. If making the i-cord in a contrast color you can plan on approx. 20, 25, 30 yards worsted and 15, 20. 25 yards bulky. You can just omit this amount from the total noted above.
