The Vici Socks are elegant cable-knit socks featuring a reinforced heel flap and a flowing cable pattern that continues from the leg onto the foot. Designed for both comfort and durability, these socks are a perfect project for knitters who enjoy working with cables.

Size & Fit
The pattern is written for EU size 38/39, but length can be adjusted.

Modification tips are included for a shorter leg version.
The fit is snug due to the cables, but the stretch allows for flexibility.

Materials Needed

Yarn: Medium-weight wool blend, such as Novita 7 Veljestä (100g / 200m per skein)

Needles: 3.5mm DPNs or preferred circulars for small circumference knitting

Other Notions: Cable needle, stitch markers, tapestry needle

Gauge

22 stitches & 30 rows = 10 cm in stockinette stitch

Gauge should be measured in the round for accuracy

Yardage Estimate

One sock: ~113 meters (123 yards)
Pair of socks: ~225 meters (246 yards)

Yarn Requirements: Just a bit more than one full skein (100g) of Novita 7 Veljestä is required for a pair. For the shorter version one full skein is enough.

The pattern is written with both charted and written instructions, making it accessible for different knitting preferences.
