Vicky the vampire is a fun Amigurumi project for intermediate and seasoned crocheters!

Vicky is a teenage vampire whose favourite blood group is 0- and who thinks it’s barbaric to drink it directly from someone’s veins.

I’m sure she will make a spooky cute addition to your Amigurumi collection!

The pattern has detailed step-by-step instructions that are accompanied by high quality photos of the process.
The pattern includes photo tutorials on how to make a magic ring, an invisible finish, invisible decreases in single crochet, and colour changes in single crochet.

Required materials and tools:

  • Cotton yarn in a DK / light worsted weight in desired skin and hair tone, and color for the shirt, pants, boots and scarf (I used white, black, purple and red)
  • 2.5mm crochet hook / Size B-1 or C-2 depending on how tightly you crochet
  • 1.75mm crochet hook / Size A-0
  • Embroidery floss in light pink, white, red and purple (or preferred color for the bat embroidery on his top)
  • 7mm safety eyes
  • Fiberfill
  • Craft wire (at least 1mm in diameter) (optional)
  • PVC tape (optional)
  • Stitch markers
  • Yarn needle
  • Large eyed sewing needle
  • Scissors

The doll is crocheted from top to bottom. There is not much sewing required.

If using the recommended yarn weight and hook size your vampire doll will be about 19cm / 7.5” tall.
