Victoria Rosewood
Level: INTERMEDIATE
Language: ENGLISH (US terms)
This listing is for an easy-to-follow digital PDF pattern showing how to crochet an amigurumi toddler doll with 2 different facial expressions, rotating head (ball joint), removeable wig, and accessories (bunny toy, and balloon). This digital PDF pattern includes: 38 pages, 240+ photos, English US crochet terms, detailed descriptions and instructions.
If using size 1, fingering/super fine weight yarn, (I use Hobbii Cotton 8/4) and a 1.50mm hook, the doll will be around 8” tall. If using smaller or larger yarn and hook sizes, the doll will be smaller or larger. She will be VERY big if you use worsted weight or larger yarn!! The bunny toy is made with a hook that is 1.75mm - 2.0mm larger than the hook used to make the doll, using size 4 or 5 plush yarn. When making the doll, you will want to use a hook that provides a tight enough tension so that stuffing will not show through your stitches. I recommend ‘yarn under’ or x-stitch for the doll, bunny toy, and balloon, and ‘yarn over’ or v-stitch for the wig (hair) and dress -- but it is not a requirement. Victoria can (optionally) be made with 2 faces, so that you can remove her wig, rotate the head, and replace the wig to change expressions. She can (optionally) be made with button eyes. Wig (hair) can be attached if you prefer.
Supplies needed for this project include:
Size 1.50mm and 3.25mm hook (or your preferred size hook for the yarn you are using and a hook that is 1.75mm LARGER than that hook.)
