victorian scalloped collar
This collar is constructed in a similar fashion to the pointed collar but has more of a soft, scalloped edge. It’s very simple and can be completed in an afternoon with any bit of leftover yarn.
Sizing:
Continue in the pattern until the piece measures approximately 45cm long. Adjust from there by loosening or tightening the tie in front.
Yarn:
I used Rowan organic cotton DK for this but I think it may keep the pattern better with a slightly thinner yarn. Of course, if you do decide to use a thinner yarn, be sure to adjust the needle size as well. You will only need a very small amount so a 50g ball is more than enough.
Needles:
I used 3.75mm but as said above be sure to adjust the needle size if you go with a thinner yarn.
