“Videira has a hood and pockets, and these are its signature. I wanted them to stand out, so choosing colors was super fun. When selecting yarn, I was attracted to grape-like colors, which created an exciting contrast, making this hoodie unique.

It is worked continuously from the back body, hood, and fronts, for the last, pick-up stitches from the body to create fun shaped sleeves. As the construction and stitches are simple, I jazzed it up with Intarsia. As you will need to use many strands of yarn, it will be a puzzle, but hopefully, you’ll enjoy the knitting process!”

The Videira hoodie is worked flat from the bottom of the back body. You can choose from 3 different body lengths. After the body, you work on the hood, then the fronts with pockets, all continuously worked. Lastly, pick up stitches from the body to create fun-shaped sleeves. The pattern also has instructions without the hood and pockets. Please customize your own version of the Videira Hoodie!

The yarn usage listed below is for the longest body length. If you would like to make the mid-length, you can subtract 5% from the yardage requirements. If you would like to make the cropped length, you can subtract 10% from the yardage requirements. The skeins amounts reflect the samples as shown.

The hoodie is knitted with three strands of yarn. In Yarn A, B, and C, you will use the same three colors. There are different cominations of these colors in the pattern, but at all times you will be holding together one color from Yarn A, one color from Yarn B, and one color from Yarn C.
