This shawl was originally published as part of A Verb For Keeping Warm’s Proverbial Shawl Club.

It is now available to purchase as an individual pattern and a slightly smaller size has been added which was knit up using One Skein of AVFW Floating.

Vidlin is worked bottom up using a Shetland construction to create the triangular shape. It features a stunning geometric lace pattern that is sometimes seen in traditional Shetland edgings but in this case has been used to form the all over pattern.

This shawl is worked in a special edition yarn from AVKW which is made up of Cormo, Corriedale, & Targhee fibers. Wonderfully woolly, soft and light!

The 2nd smaller version was knit in AVKW Floating …great if you want something very luxurious around your neck!
