Vielle cowl,
This new, incredibly soft to the touch cowl is knitted with just a single skein of Softness, a brand new yarn by Yarnz2go.
I knitted mine in a striking Kobalt color, see the yarn used below.

Garter edges, a little lace and a lovely cable pattern, create the look as shown. The shawl pin(s) add pizzazz to it and let you style your cowl many ways. See the source in the yarn section…

The size unblocked, as shown is 34” by 6.5”.

Yarn
1 Softness skein, 100 yards in a DK/light worsted weight. A mix of dragon and a thick and thin cotton. The yarn Is incredibly soft with a great texture.

Notions used
US size 8 (7.5 mm) circular needle 29” (74 cm) in length.
Cable needle
Darning needle or crochet hook for finishing

Gauge
7 sts and 10 rows in 2” of Stockinette stitch

Techniques used
Knitted and purled flat, lace knitting, cable knitting, stretchy bind off, weaving in ends and optional blocking.
