DESIGN NOTES
The goal for the Viga sweater design was to create a soft, romantic and sophisticated look. The sweater features a striking high-buttoned neck that sweeps down from a tall turtleneck collar along a raglan line. It can be worn fully extended or folded down. The sweater showcases a structured wide rib pattern that flows seamlessly from the turtleneck into the body and sleeves.
CONSTRUCTION NOTES
The sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down. The turtleneck and yoke are worked flat before joining in the round. Stitches for the sleeves are placed on hold, and the body is then shaped with German short rows before continuing working in the round to the hem. When the body is completed, sleeves are worked in the round to the cuffs.
Recommended positive ease is 6”-8” / 15-20 cm.
