These socks are all about warmth, simplicity, and a cozy, homey feel.

Sizes
S – foot circumference of 7 – 8” / 18 – 20cm
M – foot circumference of 8 – 9” / 21 – 24cm
L – foot circumference of 10 – 11” / 25 – 28cm
Foot circumference is measured in the widest point of the foot.
The numbers in brackets correspond to sizes M and L

Yarn
Yarn with a yardage of 200 – 210m/219 – 230yds per 100g .
I used Viking of Norway Superwash – 100% wool, 100m/109yds per 50g.
For this project, you can also use sock yarn with a yardage of 420m/459yds per 100g, working with two strands held together.

Needles
US 1½ – 2.5 mm or other sizes needed to obtain the required gauge.

Gauge
20 sts. x 26 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm (4” x 4”) in Stockinette stitch on 2.5 mm needles after blocking.
