Kokon Bleu goes PINK in support of Pink Ribbon awareness and cancer research and pledge the profit from PINK yarn sales in the month of October 2021 to cancer research in Nederland.
The profit of selling Vilvaere will be donated to the Danish breast cancer research and “lyserød lørdag” in October 2021.

Vilvaere is an oversized sweater with a V-neck and dropped shoulders. The sweater is worked top-down and starts with cast on stitches at the shoulders for the Back and is worked down to the underarms. Stitches are picked up at the shoulders of the Back to work the Front in two parts, that are joined after the neck shaping. The Front and Back are joined at the underarm and worked in the round until the hem. A lateral braid is worked before the hem is worked in stockinette stitches. Sleeve stitches are picked up around each armhole to work the sleeves top-down in the round to cuff. A lateral braid is worked before the sleeve cuffs and the stitches are bound off at desired length. At the neck, stitches are picked up for further finishing.
Vilvaere can be worked with short, long or without sleeves and with an I-cord or stockinette neckline edging. Customize the sweater as you please!

Vilvære er en stor trøje med V-hals, tilsatte smalle ærmer og synlige afslutninger. Trøjen er strikket oppefra-ned og starter med opslag på bagstykkets skuldre og dernæst strikkes ned til ærmegab. Masker til forstykket samles op på bagstykkets skuldre og strikkes i to stykker mens V-udskæringen formes. For og bagstykke samles under armene og strikkes rundt. En omgang vandrette masker laves, før der afsluttes med glatstrik. Dernæst samles masker op rundt i ærmegab for at strikke ærmerne rundt i omgange. En omgang vandrette masker laves før manchetten strikkes i glatstrik, og maskerne lukkes af i ønsket længde. Masker samles op i halsudskæringen for at strikke en afsluttende kant.
Vilvære kan strikkes med korte, lange eller uden ærmer. Halskanten kan ligeledes undlades, strikkes som I-cord / hestetømme eller som en glatstrikket kant.
