VINJETT
Living in an old house in the winter, and especially when also working from home, can mean cold and sore wrists. Vinjett is a beautiful little cuff or wrist warmer project for leftover yarns or for your prettiest mini skeins, that will also make sure your wrists and hands are warm and comfy through the cold season. Knit using short-rows, it’s a quick and fun knit and an excellent practice if you’re new to short-row knitting. If you want a matching shawl to go with it, it is knit using the same base pattern as the Fasett shawl.

GENERAL
Vinjett is knit sideways, starting with a provisional cast-on. It is then knit from chart, and finally the two ends are grafted together using kitchener stitch. This creates a completely invisible seam. The contrast colour is always the same, while you can choose to switch the base colour as you like.

SIZE
Approximately 14 cm high x 19 cm outer circumference (no blocking), using 2.5 mm needles. Fits comfortably on a 17 cm/6.7” wrist. If your wrists are very fine, choose a smaller needle size to get a tighter wrist warmer.
