The vintage bike ride hood is a pattern inspired by the fashion of the 50’s. It’s the perfect pattern for a quick and original gift, and the perfect accessorize for cold winter days. You can easily imagine yourself with this cute hood on your ears, riding your bike in the countryside.

Lenght (without i-cord) : 36 cm/14 inches width : 20cm/8 inches

Sizes : Thanks to the i-cord, the hood fits most heads from 36cm/15inches to 65cm/25inches.

Gauge : the gauge is not really important because of the shape of the pattern, but for a 10x10cm/4 inches garter stitch square you’ll need 20 sts and 27 rows.

You’ll need :
• approximately 45 gr of worsted weight yarn (I used Jill Draper Makes Stuff Hudson in the Cranberry colorway, 219 m for 106 gr)
• 4mm needles (circular or straigh neeedles according to your preference)
• a stitch marker

Vintage bike ride hood est un patron inspiré de la mode des années 50. Ce patron est parfait pour un cadeau rapide et original, ou pour donner un style rétro à sa tenue. On s’imagine bien, avec ce petit bonnet sur les oreilles, sillonner la campagne à bicyclette. Grâce à l’i-cord, le bonnet s’adapte à toutes les têtes entre 36cn et 65 cm de tour de tête.

Longueur (sans l’i-cord) : 36 cm, largeur : 20 cm

Tailles : l’i-cord permet de s’adapter à la plupart des tours de tête, de 36 à 65 cm.

Echantillon : 20 mailles et 27 rangs pour 10 cm (point mousse)

Matériel :

• environ 45 gr de laine worsted (ici de la Jill Draper Makes Stuff Hudson) 
• des aiguilles 4 mm droites ou circulaires
• un anneau marqueur
