Pattern description

Vintage heart vest is worked in separate motif panels and joined together with a crochet hook. You will knit the neckband and bottom band in a ribbing pattern with knitting needles. The armhole edges are worked in single crochet method looking like a knitted ribbing.
Material and notions
-8ply DK or Aran yarn (Approx. 100m of color 1, 200m of color 2, 400m of color 3 for M size)
-4.5mm hook (depending on your gauge or the size you wish to result)
-4mm cable knitting needle (depending on your gauge or the size you wish to result)
-Tapestry needles
-Scissors
-Markers

(S,M,L)
Vintage heart vest provides relaxed, cropped fit. It is designed to be approximately 15-20 cm 6-8 inches larger in circumference than your bust measurement. The sizes S (M) L tend to fit a bust circumference of 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 cm 33 1/2-35 1/2 (35 1⁄2-37 1⁄2) 37 1⁄2-39 1⁄2 inches. The model in the picture is 160 cm / 5 2́ 4” tall and has a bust circumference of 90 cm35 1/2 inches, wearing M size.
Finished bust circumference: 96 (106) 116cm / 37 1/2 (41 1/2) 45 1/2”.
Length from the mid back: 44 (48) 52cm / 17 1/2 (19) 20 1/2”.
Gauge
This pattern adjusts the sizes by the size of a motif panel. 4 seasons pure wool yarns from Australian store Spotlight are used for the sample. The sample yarn is DK, and has a 80m dimension per 50g.
After blocking: 9.5x9.5(S), 10.5x10.5(M), 11.5x11.5(L)cm on 4.5mm/ US 7 crochet hook in motif pattern worked flat. The size of a motif panel is adjustable with a different size of crochet hook or thinner/thicker yarns.
