Inspired by a vintage cobweb stole from Stitchcraft 1953 this lavender capelet is designed to knit in a circle top down, using 2 strands together. I used only stitch pattern, design, shaping and idea are my own and were made for a book Modern Knits, Vintage Style which is coming out this year. The idea was to take one vintage project/garment and design something modern and new. Here is my approach to vintage.
