The hairband comes in a textured knit which gives it a nice warm feeling and easement it measures between 3.5 and 4.00 inches in width and the length depends on the individual. It has a nice large decorative flower with a centre bead.
The original was made on a knitmaster standard gauge machine using 2 strands of Sari on tension 8. The hairband can be made in a variety of yarns this one has also been made in a 4ply crepe -
2 strands of 2ply Brittany cotton -4ply chenille and cashmillon it is not only decorative but it is also comfortable I made one each for the grandchildren and they love it. As i said it can be made out various yarns so can suit special occasionwear as well.
Using different yarns also means that a swatch has to be made to get your sizes right.
