This Vintage Victorian Shawl is a lovely and feminine wrap typical of the Victorian Era that is very easy to make. It uses a very simple Treble C2C stitch to create a square, which is later folded in half to create a V shaped wrap. This crochet project is directly inspired by a Victorian shawl present in a library museum in the North East of England.
This is a great project for beginners.

This pattern is written in US terms (British terms in brackets)

For this project you will need:

2 skeins of Caron Cloud Cakes in shade Cloud Gray
A 5 mm crochet hook
Pair of scissors
A tapestry needle
A book or piece of cardboard measuring about 6” across to create tassels

This pattern is 8 pages long, and features lots of step by step explanations and the link to a full video tutorial.

This easy project can be crocheted in the space of a week-end, and makes a perfect present.

Pattern will be available for instant download upon purchase.

I hope you enjoy it!

Happy crochet and thank you for stopping by!
